R&D
We are active in R&Ds, because we see ourselves more than a producer.
CNBG now has more than 200 on-going research programs, including many national science and technology programs and several national science and technology supporting projects e.g. “Hand-foot and mouth disease (EV71 virus) vaccine development”.
■ We established the corporate R&D Center of Excellence in 2003, our strategy is “Science-driven Development”. We focus our research on several “platform technologies”
○ Industrial scale cell culture and fermentation
○ Polysaccharide-Protein conjugate
○ Gene-recombinant technologies
○ Combination vaccines
○ Novel adjuvants
○ Purification technologies
■ In recent years, our investment in R&D increases at a rate of 40% per year.
■ In our company, over 700 scientists are working hard to discover and develop new approaches for diseases prevention and treatment.
