
Oral Poliomyelitis Vaccine Dragee Candy
Constituents and Characters:
Oral poliomyelitis vaccine in the form of dragee candy is a trivalent vaccine of live attenuated poliovirus (type I, II or III), grown separately in cell cultures of monkey kidney or human diploid cells. It is used to prevent poliomyelitis.
Specifications:
1pill/dose; 100pill/10bag/box. One pill weighing 1g containing not less than 5.95Lg TCID50 (or PFU) of live polioviruses in total, of which not less than 5.8Lg TCID50 (or PFU) per pill for type I, not less than 4.8Lg TCID50 (or PFU) for type II, and not less than 5.3Lg TCID50 (or PFU) for type III.
Quality standards:
Comply with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, 2005 Edition.
Function and Use:
The vaccine can induce immunity against poliovirus in recipients following immunization. It is used to prevent poliomyelitis.
Eligibles:
Mainly for children aged 2 months or above.
Storage, Shipping and Expiry Date:
Store and ship at 2-8℃, protected from light. The vaccine shall be used before the expiry date stated on the label of carton (or container).
